This Isfahan rug is a genuine and signed Razuli-Abbasi masterpiece and with 600kpsi, it is as fine as it is beautiful. Asghar Razuli and Rasoul Abassi are two rugs designers in Isfahan who joined forces many years ago and started a workshop. This Isfahan here is a a great example of the type of Isfahan rugs that the two are renowned for and as you can see, the rug features a high quality and unique design. While the workmanship and knot count puts this Isfahan in the masterpiece quality, the unique floral design with the light background takes it to an even higher level. As you can see in the pictures, the floral design features many different plants and birds with a level of attention that is next to none. Even for high quality standards, the weavers did an exceptional job and the details are very crisp and precise. The light background is perfect for bringing out this beautiful design and as you can see in the close up pictures, the silk in the details is a perfect compliment to the other colors. The quality is everything you would expect from a masterpiece quality Isfahan rug with a silk foundation. Details and workmanship are spot on and as is a tradition in Isfahan, this piece is signed by the two and reads like a little story.
