RUG INFORMATION:
This ultra colorful and superbly woven 800 kpsi pure silk Qum rug was made by the Farsh Taj family in Qum with a design and quality that makes it perfect for hanging on a wall or displaying as a home decor rug.
Made by the Farsh Taj rug weaving family in Qum, this very detailed silk Qum rug features an ~800 kpsi masterpiece quality with a truly spectacular design that gives it an almost pictorial look. The very fine silk and dense feel is similar to that of the very best Qum rugs like those of the Jamshidi workshop and this is a perfect piece for those who want the feel of a real Jamshidi, but not the huge price tag that those rugs demand. The colorful design hides so many features like the large parrot and so many other details, that you can spend hours at it and still find something new. There are well over 25+ colors and to weave a rug like this takes extremely long and can only be done by the best. Designed to be placed as a decor rug, I would expect it to brighten up just about any room in a home and as you can see in the pictures, the colors change dramatically based on the viewing angle and lighting. With about 800 kpsi, high level of workmanship and sheer number of colors used, this piece is right up there in terms of overall quality and like most, it features the signature of the Farsh Taj weaving family.
