RUG INFORMATION:
This large round 600 kpsi Qum rug was made by the Orumi weaver and is a perfect example of a large formal rug for a elegant part of a home.
Made by the Orumi weaving family in Qum, this very detailed round silk Qum rug features a showpiece quality ~600 kpsi, which makes it suitable for a formal area of a home as well as in a setting like a formal dining or entry room. The workmanship is very detailed and of a very high level. Weaving large round Qom rugs require the upmost attention by the weavers and you can see that the design and weave is perfectly symmetric. As you can see in the pictures, the dark red background changes colors depending on the viewing angle and lighting. Most of my clients who are looking a large round Qum rug already either own one or are familiar with them, so there not much that needs to be added. It is simply a stunning example of what a large round silk Qum rug should be all about and as with virtually of the genuine Qom rugs, the signature of the weaver is also found at the top of the rug.
