This Semi-Antique Isfahan rug is a rare find in older Isfahan rugs due to its unique design, colors and excellent condition. Woven about 70 years by a masterweaver by the name of Saberian, this Isfahan rug was hang for virtually all of its life and so it was never walk on and is in excellent condition. Besides being a silk foundation showpiece, the design and colors are equally rare and the light gray background is not something that you typically find in new Persian rugs any more. The quality is everything you would expect from a high quality Isfahan rug with a silk foundation. Details and workmanship are spot on and the size and quality makes it perfect for hanging on a wall or displaying as a decor item in a nicely furnished room or office.
