RUG INFORMATION:
Masterpiece quality Razuli-Abbasi Isfahan rug...
This stunning masterpiece quality Isfahan rug is a genuine silk foundation 600kpsi made by the very high regarded Razuli-Abbasi workshop and features a design that features koi fishes in a tiled garden pool with a fountain in the center.
The Razuli-Abbasi workshop is one of the few remaining highly regarded workshops in Isfahan and this piece is a perfect example of their above-the-norm workmanship. There is a large amount of silk that is embedded into the design such as the golden color in the center and border, which is completely made of silk. The entire large center medallion is made with a pure silk pile and the fine wool is added to bring out the design. This is also found in the fishes which resemble koi. We had a larger version of this piece that I featured in my youTube channel and below is the video, which you can see if you view this page in full view.
