Truly unique and stunning masterpiece Qom rug made by the Akbarzadeh workshop in Qum with an amazing attention to detail and about 800 kpsi.
This signed pure silk Qum rug has so many things going for it that it more of an artpiece than a silk rug. The different colors along with the various design features and fine workmanship all points to this being made by very skilled weavers. Its many color combination in the various parts of the rug are just as stunning as the designs. From the borders and center that feature animals to the tiled Mehrab design, there is simply a lot going on is this piece. If you like this Qum rug, I would suggest that you watch the video below in which I showcase this along with other fine Qum rugs in this size and you can see how the colors change as I walk around the Qum rug. At around 800 kpsi, this Qum rug is about as high end as it gets and given the design and overall look, I would imagine that this piece would be placed in a formal room or hang on a wall. Like with most genuine pure silk Qum rugs, this piece features the signature of the workshop and is this case it bears the signature of the Akbarzadeh name.
