RUG INFORMATION:
Versace Design masterpiece quality Qum rug with about ~750kpsi...
This signed Qum rug features a very fine 750 kpsi masterpiece quality and the popular Versace design at a great price. This design is typically only found in high quality Tabriz and pure silk Qum rugs like this one and you typically have a solid black background with a golden design. Perfectly suited for placing in a formal area of a home or office. If you look at my various Qum galleries, you will probably find a few in various sizes and they are amazing to look at and simply very elegant. I made a video about them where you can see the differences in how the rugs look based on whether you look at them from the light or dark side. If you are able to see this page in desktop view, check out the video below and see for yourself how the colors simply pop out and how elegant this large Qum rug is. The workmanship and attention to detail are phenominal and it is simply everything that you should expect from a fine Qum rug of this caliber. Like virtually all of our Qum rugs, this piece also features the signature of the workshop in Qum and in this case it was woven by the Rasavi weavers.
IMPORTANT:
Info About REAL vs. FAKE Qum Rugs
Due to the large number of inquiries I receive about genuine and fake silk Qum rugs and the large amount of misinformation that are being peddled by online and rug store retailers, I have created my own YouTube channel where I offer factual information for you like the video below that is about Qum Silk Rugs. You can see the video if you view this rug page on a laptop or desktop.
Learn about the luxurious Versace design in Persian rugs and see how the colors change in silk carpets depending on lighting and viewing angle. All handmade rugs have a dark and light side (with or against grain) and the silk rugs like the Qum, Hereke and Kashmir pieces tend to have tremendous color changes. In this video I will showcase the Versace design and show you how the colors can change dramatically in some designs.
