FIRST FOR US!! Newly discovered design in an Ozipek in a very long time!!
This artpiece 13/13 quality pictorial Ozipek Hereke rug in like new condition and a rare tree-of-life design!! Given that the original Oizpek workshops closed their doors over 30 years ago, we thought that by now we would have seen or owned pieces with just about all of the designs and here comes a piece that features a truly unique design. While the colors and shapes of the plants and animals are classic Ozipek from the 1970's, this detailed artwork in a mirror like design is something we have never seen or heard off...
If you are a Hereke fan as we are, you will know how remarkable this piece with its unique design combined with the 13/13 quality and its size. Given that most pictorial silk rugs are typically hang on walls, it is in mint condition and there are no damages. We were obtain it from an estate of a private collection after the family of the owner contacted us. As with all genuine Ozipek pieces, there is a signature in the top center. If you are a fan of Turkish silk rugs, you will immediately appreciate a rare find like this one and it is obviously perfectly suited for hanging or displaying as a decor rug..
