This pictorial Tabriz rug belongs in a category of its own simply due to the extremely fine quality and workmanship and its one of a handful of actual 100 Raj pieces that we have ever offered. With an incredible 100 Raj and about 900 KPSI, it rivals the best pure silk Qum rugs in terms of quality and value. Even though my family is in the Persian rug wholesale business, we are only able to find a few pieces like this one as most are simply way too expensive to even consider. Most are custom made for collectors and 100 raj Tabriz rugs are extremely rare. The sheer number of colors and the extreme attention to detail is everything you would expect from a Tabriz rug of this caliber. It is a collectable and while it is perfectly fine to lay on a floor, I would imagine that most would want to hang it on a wall. We were able to obtain this piece from a private collector who had this piece originally framed and it is in a like new condition.
