RUG INFORMATION:
This is a rare Artpiece quality Tabriz Persian rug depicting the ancient Egyption Imperial court in a rare size that makes that makes it perfect for hanging on walls or even having it framed.
The sheer quality of this pictorial Tabriz rug is perfectly suited for a rug that features such an intricate amound of details and it is a 65 Raj Tabriz rug with ~500 kpsi. Made with a silk foundation and silk mixed in with the lambwool to give the pile the soft and luxurious look, it is simply a stunning piece. If you look at the pictures, you can see how the large number of details are very precisely made and it is everything you would expect from an extremely fine and well made Tabriz rug.
The choice of colors and the depicting of the Egyptian Imperial court are also very accurately represented and the overall workmanship makes it one of our favorite pictorial Tabriz rug. This piece was actually one of two pieces that we purchased and it was a twin set. The other sold immediately after it arrival as we had a client who searched for a pictorial rug of this size and quality.
