RUG INFORMATION:
Genuine Djamshidi ~1000 KPSI QUM ARTPIECE...
This square Qum Persian rug was made by a master apprentice of the Jamshidi family and features the same type of workmanship and attention to detail as the real Jamshidi rugs. While many retailers will sell these type of artpieces as genuine Jamshidi Qum rugs, I do not do so since this piece was made by one of the masterweavers that work for the Jamshidi family. Had this been a genuine Jamshidi piece, it would feature a seal that you can see in the genuine Jamshidi pieces in my gallery. The number of colors and choice of design is classic for Jamshidi rugs and it is perfectly normal to see over 30 different colors being used in their rugs. This is a rare artpiece and ideally suited for a formal room or hang on a wall.
