Rare 10x10 Round Qum Gonbad Silk Rug...
This 10x10 (3m) round Qum Persian rug features a Gonbad design and a showpiece quality, but by far the biggest deal is the price itself. Round pure silk Qum rugs in this large size typically sell for twice as much in retail stores and even dealers who sell used rugs on eBay will be hard pressed to offer a piece at this price. We purchased several round Qum rugs from the same weaver and were able to negotiate a great price for them.
Besides the price, the other feature that stood out immediately was the quality of the workmanship and the choice of colors, which I think are a perfect compliment for each other. The dark burgundy color is a great background that allows the Gonbad design and the colors to stand out. As with all of our pure silk Qum rugs, this round Qom carpet is also signed by the weaver.
