RUG INFORMATION:
Genuine pure silk Qom Gonbad Persian rug
This showpiece quality pure silk Qum Persian rug features a variation of the Gonbad design that has become the most popular design amongst my clients. It is one of several well known Gonbad designs and is known as the Faraji or tear drop Gonbad design. It starts out with small tear drops around the center and becomes larger as you move out. The colors in this piece are strikingly beautiful and as you look at the pictures, you can see the difference between the light and dark side. As with all of our pure silk Qum rugs, this piece is also signed by the weaver and it is an excellent example of what a Qum rug with a Gonbad design is all about.
