This Qum rug is one of a few genuine Jamshidi artpieces that we are proud to offer and as is the norm with the Jamshidi carpets, the seal of anthenticity is attached to the rug.
The Jamshidi family are considered one of the most renowned Persian rug weavers that are still in business today and the rugs they produce are some of the finest and most valued collectables that you will find. These rugs are in a league of their own and they are simply everything you would expect from a artpiece quality piece. If you are familiar with Jamshidi rugs, you will know that they often use well over 25 different colors in the rug design and each piece is carefully designed and made. The sheer feel of the thick silk and looks are often a dead giveaway and as is customary with all genuine pieces, each one of our comes with the attached seal and there are of course signatures of the family in the rug. This is absolutely a collector item and while it is perfectly fine to walk on, I would strongly recommend that you consider hanging it due to its value.
