This oval Qum Persian rug is one of a few pure silk oval Qum rugs that we have been able to offer and it is of a showpiece quality with ~600 kpsi. Oval rugs are some of the hardest rugs to weave and even though this size is the common in Qum silk rugs, we typically can only find a few every couple of years as we are very particular about the symmetry of the oval rugs.
In this case, you are looking at a very nicely done oval Qum rug with the workmanship and quality that you should expect to see in a fine Qum rug. The workmanship and attention to detail make this piece perfect for placing on floors, hanging on walls or even placing it on a table as a decor item. The background brings out the detailed artwork and as you expect from genuine silk Qum Persian rugs, the colors change depending on the viewing angle and lighting. As with virtually all of the genuine pure silk Qum rugs we offer, this piece is signed by the weaver.
