This Isfahan rug is a genuine and signed Zarersadeh showpiece with all of the characteristics of a classic high end Isfahan rug without the large price sticker. While most Isfahan rugs are of a much lower quality, the high quality Isfahan rugs tend to be pieces like this one and feature a silk foundation with very detailed designs and a very high degree of workmanship.
The light blue and gray colors are a great contrast to the high quality Tabriz rugs in that Isfahan rugs tend to feature the light blues and grays and lesser the pinks. As with virtually all showpiece quality Isfahan rugs, this piece features a silk foundation and the signature of the weaver in one end.
