RUG INFORMATION:
Showpiece quality Nain Persian rug with ~500KPSI and a genuine 6-Lah quality.
Very fine Nain Persian rug that is about 60 years old but in Like New condition. It really remarkable that there is such a thing like this piece as it is so old, yet has virtually no usage. The colors have aged as is of course expected, but it is as though the rug was simply placed in a palace somewhere and then forgotten...
As with all genuine 6-Lah Nain rugs, this piece features silk highlights and ~500 KPSI. Even though I personally prefer the newer rugs, this piece has a special place for me and I can safely say that it is one of my favorites. Perfectly suited for formal areas of a home, it is one of the most unique Nain rugs I offer due to its age and condition.
Also, please note that like most Nain 6-Lah pieces, this Nain rug features a copy of the Habibian signature, which you can see in the series of pictures.
