Rare pure silk Qom Gonbad showpiece piece...
The tear drop Gonbad design is virtually always found in high end Persian rugs and here is a great example of one in this oversize 10x13 size with a unique touch. This pure silk Qom rug with the variation of the Gonbad design is brand new, but was deliberately washed after it was finished to give it an older feel and look. Also, by giving it the aged look, the blue background is a bit muted and depending on the lighting and angle, the color can move from the solid blue to a turquious. As with all of our pure silk Qum Persian rugs, this piece is also signed by the weaver and it is simply a gorgeous piece...
