This Isfahan rug is a genuine and signed Dahvari showpiece and we are fortunate to be able to purchase this along with other pieces from this well respected weaving family in Isfahan. The Dahvari family is not as famous as the Serafian or Haghigi weaving houses, but the family is highly respected in the Persian rug circles for their quality and attention to detail.
The Isfahan rug runner here is a a great example of the type of Isfahan rug that the Dahvari weave and is a 500kpsi showpiece quality Isfahan rug with a classic Isfahan design and colors that are very different than the Tabriz rugs. The light beige and gray colors are rarely found in Persian rugs and the lack of pinks and other bold colors make it a very elegant piece for a hallway, bedroom or any other place where a long runner is needed. As with all truly showpiece quality Isfahan rugs, this runner is very luxurious looking and perfect for formal areas of home while having the durability to last a lifetime.
