This small pictorial Tabriz Persian rug features Presidents Kennedy and Johnson, but what truly makes this piece such a unique piece is the old-school workmanship that is virtually unfound in new Tabriz rugs. The quality is a genuine 60 Raj and even though new pieces with this high quality feature a silk foundation, this piece is still made with a cotton foundation, which shows a level of experience on the part of the weaver that is next to none. As of now, this piece is one of only 2 Tabriz Persian rugs that have a solid 60 Raj quality with a cotton foundation.
