Genuine 70 Raj Masterpiece quality with ~625 KPSI...
This Tabriz rug is one of a couple of rare high 70Raj Tabriz rugs that we are offering from a private collector who displayed them as artpieces in his home. The Tabriz rug dates back to the 1960s, but it is in such an amazing condition, that we could offer it as brand new and virtually nobody would notice.
The workmanship is well above what most new 70 raj masterpieces would be and many dealers offer Tabriz rugs like this one as 80 Raj pieces. It is simply one of the finest examples of Persian rugs with a silk foundation and a ton of silk in the design. As with all 70 Raj Tabriz rugs, this piece features a large amount of silk highlights and the workmanship is of course extremely high.
