RUG INFORMATION:
This 900 kpsi Qum artpiece quality rug is one of the few pieces made by Mahmoud Hosseini Nejad, who is among the few remaining workshops that we are fortunate enough to still weave rugs and has a double signature, which is very important.
This Qom rug was woven by Mahmoud Hosseini Nejad, who along with other members of his family have been in Qom for many years and are known for producing colorful rugs that are not only very vibrant and bold, but are also made of almost the same level of quality as the Jamshidi rugs. You will see the extended long signature at the bottom of the rug. The design, colors and workmanship pretty much speak for themselves and this is pretty much an artpiece that is designed to be displayed in a formal setting and/or hang on a wall. For those of you who are looking for the very best in pure silk Qum rugs and want a cheaper alternative to the Jamshidi rugs, this Qum rug is definitely one such piece.
