Genuine 65Raj Nahvinbar Tabriz rug made with a 70% silk pile with a masterpiece quality...
This Tabriz rug is a genuine over the top masterpiece made by the Nahvinfar workshop and features a pile that has a complete silk base with small amounts of the finest kurkwool added in the decor. Combined with a silk foundation and a very classic and elegant design with a 65 Raj masterpiece quality, it is a rare example of what the very high end Tabriz rugs are all about. Typically you have silk added as highlights in a wool pile, but in this case it is literally reversed and you have an extremely fine rug that is made up of 70% silk. Perfect for formal areas of a home like a living or master bedroom, the Nahvinfar Tabriz rugs are typically designed with neutral colors as is the silk here. Like most famous workshops in Tabriz, the Nahvinfar family has had to cut back their production of new rugs and this piece is a fine example of the workmanship for which they are famous for. As with most of the Tabriz rugs made by the Nahvinfar workshop, there is a kelim on both ends featuring their signature.
