The black background and golden design is classic in the Versace design which is unfortunately becoming harder to find as most of the workshop in Qum that have made this design are slowly closing their doors. The contrast of the gold and black with the red is very striking and many of my clients like to display the pure silk Qum rugs with the Versace design on a wall as an artpiece.
