Amazing Semi-Antique pictorial 20/20 Turkish Hereke rug with ~2500 kpsi depicting a hunting design.
This rare pure silk Turkish Hereke artpiece with ~2500 kpsi and a 20/20 quality is one of several very fine pure silk Hereke rugs of this caliber that features the hunting design.
The condition of this ultra fine pictorial Hereke is outstanding and the 20/20 quality refers to the fact that it features an amazing 20 knots per centimeter, which translates to about 4 million knots per square meter or about 2500 kpsi. This type of Hereke rug is one of the most expensive and rarest of handmade rugs in the world and it is even more special given its unique square pictorial design, which makes it perfect for hanging and displaying like an artpiece.
This piece caught our eye as we have been able to add a few Hereke rugs with the hunting design to our collection, but this is the first time that have we have found one in this amazing 20/20 quality.
