This 900 kpsi Qum rug is one of several pieces by the Mohammadi workshop that we have been able to offer and is a stunning example of what the very best in pure silk Qum rugs are all about.
Made by the weavers of the Mohammadi workshop in Qum, this very detailed silk pieces not only features ~900 kpsi, but also a formal design that is is very detailed and painstakingly woven. Qum rugs with this level of details are becoming more and more rare as most workshops in Qom including the Mohammadi workshop are also weaving far fewer rugs than before and/or have closed. The classic dark and reddish background is not only perfect in bringing out the design, but is also gives it a very elegant look and feel. Perfect for a formal or quiet area of a home or office, this Qum rug is clearly designed to be displayed as a fine home decor rug and the very high 900 kpsi quality along with the workmanship puts it in a masterpiece quality category.
