RUG INFORMATION:
Very well made pictorial Qum Persian rug with the hunting design. This one is probably one of the most classic examples of what the hunting design should look like in pure silk Qum Persian rugs and the workmanship is extremely well made. The quality and attention to detail is above the norm and when you look at the faces of the riders and esspecially the poetry writings in the border, you can see how precise the weaver was. Most of my clients who purchases these type of pictorial Persian rugs hang them on walls and as with all pure silk Qum rugs, the colors and details change as the lighting changes throughout the day. Most of the Qum rugs with a hunting design have about 500-600 kpsi and when you compare it to the other ones I offer in the same size, you can see how this piece is more crisp and detailed. Like all of our genuine Qum rugs, this piece is also signed by the weaver and it is perfectly suited for formal areas of a home or to be hang on a wall.
