This Tabriz rug features a rare variation of the popular Gonbad design and a silk foundation. Perfect for formal areas of a home like a living or master bedroom, the Tabriz rug like this one are amongst my most sought-after rugs by my clients.
Due to the difficulty in making this symmetric Gonbad design, it is typically only found in Tabriz, Nain and Qom rugs and we are very fortunate to have the contacts that allow us to offer so many of them. The silk foundation obviously makes this a very fine piece and while it is of a showpiece quality, it is very durable and designed for everyday use.
