This Tabriz rug is one of several genuine 70 Raj masterpiece Tabriz rugs that we are currently offering in this size but with a pictorial design that is very hard to find in oversize Tabriz rugs of this size. The details are as crisp and stunning as one would expect and even though it is a very large pictorial rug, I would not be surprised if it ends up hanging on a wall
As with all 70 Raj Tabriz rugs, this piece features a large amount of silk highlights and the workmanship is of course extremely high. Tabriz rugs of this caliber are treated like the high end pure silk Qom rugs and are in a league of their own. While this piece featuers a lot of silk in addition to the silk foundation, the pile is made of very dense and fine Kurkwool making it perfect for a formal room or a quiet retreat.
