RUG INFORMATION:
This Varamin rug runner is perfect for clients who are looking for a high quality Persian rugs for their hallways or any place where there is traffic. The Varamin Persian rugs come from small villages south of Teheran and the rugs there are considered by some to be the closest thing to the Teheran rugs, which are very rare as there has not been a native rug weaving cultures for many decades. The Varamin carpets kind of fill that void and are typically made with wool on a cotton foundation with traditional Persian rug designs.
Unlike most lower quality Varamin rugs, this runner features a very tight weave with about 300 kpsi and a very soft wool that combined gives it a very durable and luxurious feel. The Varamin rugs often features colors and patterns often seen in the dresses of tribal women throughout the Middle East. If you are familiar with the customs and cultures of the Kurdish, Lurs or others, you will instantly see the inspiration of the design and these runners also feature the type of quality that will ensure many years of joy.
