RUG INFORMATION:
Rare combination of Qom rugs and Heriz design...
This Qum Persian rug features a very classic Heriz design that is typically found in Tabriz and Heriz Persian rugs. The geometric Heriz design comes from the Kurdish rug weaving culture of north western Iran and it is rare to find it in the pure silk Qum rugs. With about 600 kpsi, this Qum rug is a great showpiece quality pure silk carpet. Besides the geometric design, the color combination is equally rare and it is very unusual to find Qum rugs with this dark wintergreen color and the reddish borders.
