Genuine Behnami Tabriz rug with a showpiece quality...
This Tabriz rug was made by the Behnami family, which is one of the best known Persian rug families in Tabriz. Most of the Tabriz rugs made by the Behnami family are of an even higher quality and are often very expensive. Since we have been buying many of their rugs for many years, we are also able to get some of these 55 raj quality pieces with a silk foundation.
One of the immediate focal points are the large silk highlights in this Tabriz rug and this is very common in the Behnami rugs. Even though the lighting is not ideal for taking pictures of our oversized pieces, you can still see the silk pop out in the center and throughout the rug. As is always the case, the Behnami family also signed their rugs and you can see the signature in one of the last pictures.
