RUG INFORMATION:
Excellent quality 50 Raj Tabriz with everything you would expect with a flair of the past. The rare size is one of the outstanding features of this Tabriz rug and the design is the other as the floral pattern is not a traditonal one. Even though it is a new piece, it is deliberately made using the same techniques as in the mid century and you can see this in the borders and edges. For someone like me, who sees a whole lot of Persian rugs, its a real pleasure to see that there are some weavers who still produce fine Tabriz rugs like in the old days.
