This Varamin rug runner has a twin piece available and is perfect for clients who are looking to place rugs in their bedrooms. The Varamin Persian rugs come from small villages south of Teheran and the rugs there are considered by some to be the closest thing to the Teheran rugs, which are very rare as there has not been a native rug weaving cultures for many decades. The Varamin carpets kind of fill that void and are typically made with wool on a cotton foundation with traditional Persian rug designs.
Unlike most Varamin rugs, this runner has a matching twin set was actually made as a single long runner and then seperated after they were completed. These twin runners are made specifically with bedrooms in mind and are very sought-after with our clients. Also, Varamin rugs of this caliber feature a very tight weave with about 300 kpsi and the design features colors and patterns often seen in the dresses of tribal women throughout the Middle East. If you are familiar with the customs and cultures of the Kurdish, Lurs or others, you will instantly see the inspiration of the design and these runners also feature the type of quality that will ensure many years of joy.
