RUG INFORMATION:
Genuine Signed Faraji Tabriz rug with a 55 Raj showpiece quality...
The Faraji family in Tabriz pioneered this uniform floral design that you see in this Tabriz rug many decades ago and we have been fortunate to be able to purchase many of their rugs over the years due to their popularity with our clients. One of the more unique features in this Faraji rug is the solid red color, which makes the design and silk simply pop out.
Due to the difficulty in keeping the black color from bleeding into the details and remaining uniform throughout the whole rug, most weavers will not make Persian rugs with this design and its a rare gem to be able to offer it. The silk foundation 55 Raj quality gives this pieces an added feel of luxury and it is perfectly suited for a formal room like a living or dining room. Many of my clients like to place Tabriz rugs with this design under tables since the design is uniform and works great with furniture of all types and colors.
As an added bonus, the Faraji family also adds their signature to all of their Tabriz Persian rugs and you can see it in the pictures.
