Rare oversized Bidjar rug with silk & 350kpsi...
If you are a fan or collector of fine Bidjar rugs, you will probably know all there is to know about how the Bidjar rugs are made and so on.
However, every once in a while we are blessed to be able to offer a rare Bidjar rug and this is one of such pieces.
This oversized Bidjar rug features a rare Tekap quality and has lots of silk highlights added to the design as you can see in the pictures. The dark blue almost black background is perfect in bringing out the silk highlights in the design and it is in excellent condition. It is extremely hard to find Bidjar rugs of this size with this medallion free design and it is simply a great example of what a fine Bidjar rug is all about. While the pile is made of fine Kurkwool (Lambwool), it is the workmanship and weaving style that gives it the incredible strength and denseness.
IMPORTANT: Please note that this Bidjar rug can only be shipped via air freight directly from our warehouse in Hamburg to you. This is an extremely large and heavy rug and I can give you all of the details per email or phone call.
