Stunning silk foundation 6-Lah Nain Persian Rug...
This rare medium sized Nain rug features a silk foundation and is made like the old 6-Lah quality Nain rugs of the past, which is considered by many including myself to be finer than in the newer ones. This is a new Nain rug, but what makes this piece so unique is the combination of the workmanship along with the silk foundation. It is made in the same manner as the older famous Habibian 6-Lah pieces back in the old days. The classic design with the light blue background is very much in line with the Nain rugs of the late 70's and the silk is mixed with the fine kurkwool that gives it the soft and yet durable feel that so many of my clients seek in the Nain rugs.
Please note that while this Nain rug is in quality and design very much aligned with the authentic Habibian Nain rugs and features the signature of the workshop, this piece is a new piece.
