RUG INFORMATION:
Stunning Hereke Khan-Khali rug with stunning 12/12 quality, ~900+ kpsi, and a design perfect for hanging or displaying!!
This is a genuine 12/12 quality ~900+ kpsi genuine Turkish Khan-Khali Hereke rugs, which puts it in the very high class of silk Turkish Hereke rugs. The 12/12 quality means that you have an incredible 12 knots per centimeter and keep in mind that the genuine Hereke rugs are made with a double knotted Turkish knot, which translates into about 900+ kpsi.
It's remarkable quality and like new condition is due to these types of Hereke rugs being treated like artpieces as it evident by how nice this piece is. This pictorial piece dates back to the early 90's and is like new and in flawless condition. The almost pictorial design with the peacock is the center is not only very detailed and well made, but the peacock carries a special meaning in the Turkish culture that I describe in the video below that you can see when you view this page in desktop format.

IMPORTANT:
Info About REAL vs. FAKE Hereke Rugs

Due to the large number of inquiries I receive about genuine and fake Hereke rugs and the misinformation that are being peddled by online and rug store retailers, I have created my own YouTube channel where I offer factual information for you like the video below that is about Hereke Silk Rugs. You can see the video if you view this rug page on a laptop or desktop.

Learn about Turkish vs. Chinese Hereke Rugs

If you own or are interested in silk Hereke rugs, please watch this video in which I show you real Turkish silk Hereke rugs and the Chinese silk couterparts that are often sold as genuine Turkish rugs. For over 20 years, I have been getting a lot of inquiries about the Hereke rugs and so many have been scammed by the rug dealers in Turkey that I thought I try to show you the difference using actual rugs.

Topic #1: The different qualities in Turkish & Chinese Hereke rugs

Topic #2: Differences in prices and Signatures!! Learn the truth about them and see an actual example of a signature that was added to a Chinese copy to make it look like a Turkish piece
