Highest Quality Kashmir silk rug with a 24/24 quality.
The 24/24 quality is considered to be the highest grade of Kashmir rugs and is typically found in less than 1% of all Kashmir rugs due to the costs and extremely fine workmanship. 24/24 quality refers to the Kashmir featuring 24 knots per inch, which translates to about 600 kpsi. The pile in these fine Kashmir is made of 100% silk and the foundation of these fine Kashmir rugs is mercerized cotton, which gives it the look and strength of pure silk without the hugh costs of the pure silk Persian Qum rugs. In quality and durability, the 24/24 Kashmir rugs are very popular with our clients who are looking for the finest silk rugs but are budget focused. As is also common, the colors tend to change a bit due to the effect of the lighting and as you can see in the pictures, its almost impossible to pinpoint the exact color. Depending on the viewing angle, either the light background or the brownish design features will take preference and you can see the contrast in the pictures as well. If you compare the first pictures of the whole rug with the last ones, you can clearly see the contrast between the light and dark sides.
