This Isfahan rug is a genuine showpiece quality piece with a design and color combination that stands a bit apart from the rest. As is typical with most high quality Isfahan or Tabriz Persian rugs, most light colored pieces either have no other colors or feature bold colors that clash with the furnishings. Here is a Isfahan with a soft colors in the details along with some burgundy in just the right amount of places to give the Isfahan a tremendous amount of character and beauty. Also, this is a high quality Isfahan rug with a silk foundation and ~500 kpsi, making it a very fine showpiece quality rug. The pile is made of very fine lambwool with silk added as highlights. Perfectly suited for under furniture or as a decor rug, the quality and workmanship is such that it will add a touch of luxury to any area of a home.
