Genuine showpiece quality Isfahan rug with unique design and colors.
This Isfahan rug is a genuine showpiece quality piece with a design and color combination that has been very popular with my clients worldwide. As is typical with high quality Isfahan Persian rugs, this piece features a silk foundation and has over 500 kpsi, making it a very fine showpiece quality rug. The pile is made of very fine lambwool with silk added as highlights.
What sets this Isfahan carpet apart from the rest is the design and colors, which makes it perfectly suitable for living or dining rooms. The very dark navy blue, almost black background is perfect in bringing out the classic Isfahan design with it light colors and silk, but its the grayish color and lack of reds and pinks that is rare for Isfahan rugs and Persian rugs in general. Most high end Persian rugs of this caliber like the silk foundation Tabriz or Isfahan rugs tend to have lots of reds and pinks and here we have a perfect combination that so many of my clients want for their formal dining and living rooms. Perfectly suited for under furniture or as a main rug in a living room, the quality and workmanship is such that it will add a touch of luxury to any area of a home.
