This Isfahan rug is a genuine and signed Heghmadnejad masterpiece and with 650+kpsi, it is as fine as it is beautiful. The Heghmadnejad family is not as famous as the Serafian or Haghigi weaving houses, but the family is highly respected in the Persian rug circles for their quality and attention to detail as is evident in this piece.
The Isfahan rug here is a a great example of the type of Isfahan rug that my clients love to purchase and while the 650+kpsi puts it in the masterpiece quality, the unique design with the black background take it to an even higher level. er. The black background is perfect for bringing out this beautiful design and as you can see in the close up pictures, the silk in the details is a perfect compliment to the other colors. This unique design is one that I have been able to offer in a few other rugs, but it is typically only found in isfahan rugs. The quality is everything you would expect from a masterpiece quality Isfahan rug with a silk foundation. Details and workmanship are spot on and as is a tradition in Isfahan, this piece is signed by the weaver like with most high quality Isfahan rugs.
