This rare semi-antique artpiece quality Cinar Hereke rug is an extremely rare find as far as genuine Turkish Cinar silk rugs go.
Both the design and 13/13 quality are completely not what the Cinar carpets are known for and its simply a stunning piece. It is simply incredible to find a 60 year old piece in this stunning 13/13 quality. Given that most pictorial silk rugs are typically hang on walls or treated like a decor rug, this piece is in mint condition and was displayed by a collector like an artpiece.
This is a genuine Turkish Cinar Hereke rug with a 13/13 quality, which translates into about 900+ kpsi and its a great example of what the fine Turkish silk rugs are all about. This rare tile patterned pictorial design features lots of plants and animals in each frame, which are also very well made and the details are crisp and colorful. The Cinar Hereke rugs like so many other Turkish silk weavers got all but wiped out by the cheaper Chinese imitations and as a result the older genuine Turkish pieces like this one are becoming more and more sought-after and appreciated. If you are a fan of Turkish silk rugs, you will immediately appreciate a rare find like this one and it is obviously perfectly suited for hanging or displaying as a decor rug..
