Semi-Antique Hereke rug in excellent condition
This small 10/10 quality Hereke rug features a design that is not standard for Turkish Hereke rugs, but also has the colors and workmanship that points to a piece that is probably about 70 years old. The feel and condition of this piece makes us believe that it dates back to about 1950 to 1960 due to the way the Hereke looks and the design of the border. These type of Hereke rugs are typically either hang on walls or placed as decor rugs in places where there little to no chance of being walked on, which is why they tend to keep their luster and quality. The signature which is typical for Hereke rugs is in the top right corner.
