Stunning 70Raj Masterpiece Tabriz rug with ~625 KPSI...
This rare Tabriz rug features a silk foundation and given the very large size, it is everything you would expect to see in a masterpiece of this caliber. As is the norm with Tabriz rugs with this very high quality of about 600 KPSI, it not only features a silk foundation, but also has a ton of silk added to the pile in the form of silk highlights. I personally like the dark background, which not only brings out the details of the design, but makes the silk pop out in the details as you can clearly see in the pictures. This is one of the finest Tabriz Persian rugs that we are currently offering on this very large size and it simply an absolute masterpiece in every aspect. Given the very large size, it is obviously designed to be placed in large formal rooms and while it is a very fine piece, it is perfectly suitable for under furniture or in a large open area of a room.
