This Qum Persian rug features the popular Gonbad design and is one of the most popular designs that I offer in square Persian rugs. The Gonbad design is by its design perfect for round and square Persian rugs and this large size is not only commonly placed in formal areas of my clients homes, but many also like to hang them on walls. One of unique features in this piece is the turquois blue colors in this piece which change dramatically depending on the light and viewing side. With ~600 KPSI, it is everything you would expect from a showpiece quality Qum rug and as with most of my pure silk Qum rugs, this piece is also signed by the weaver. We are fortunate to be able to offer these rare Gonbad Qum rugs due to our close relationship with the weavers and if you shop around, you will see that square Qom Gonbad Persian rugs are very rare and most retailers sell them for much more than what you see here.
