Genuine Signed Mohareri Artpiece...
This pure silk Qom Persian rug was made by the Mohareri family, who are respected for their very fine and detailed designs that are often traditional and yet somewhat unique. As you see in this piece, the design is a classic Qum pattern, but the sheer number of colors and extremely intricate tiny details are classic Mohareri. Even though it only has about 800 KPSI, it feels much finer and the quality of the silk used is also much higher than in most Qum rugs. While it is perfectly well suited for laying on floors, most of my clients will hang these type of Qum rugs on walls.
