RUG INFORMATION:
Showpiece quality 6-Lah Nain rug with an hint of an Gonbad design...
The 8x5 (2,5m by 1,5m) Nain rug features a very fine 6-Lah quality with a hint of the popular Gonbad design that features some of the cultural architecture that you typically find in the Middle East. With ~500 KPSI, the Nain rug is everything you would expect from a fine high end Persian rug and the silk highlights are perfect for the design and colors. Perfectly suited for formal areas of a home or office, the 6-Lah Nain rugs are very popular with my clients and especially this piece is one of those that I would be surprised if it stayed with us for too long.
If you have an interest in the culture along with the architecture of the Middle East, you will notice the details in the borders and throughout the rug along with the large center that is almost like a Gonbad design. Given how rare this design is and how popular it is with everyone that sees it, I featured this Nain rug along with several other rare Nain carpets in the video below that you can see when you view this page in full view.
