And even more incredible, we had multiple pieces custom made for us and we had originally 6 made for us!!
The Faraji family in Tabriz pioneered this large floral design that you see in this oversized Twin Tabriz rug set many decades ago and we have been fortunate to be able to purchase many of their rugs over the years. As you browse throughout my site, you will many others like this one and their workmanship is simply outstanding.
What sets these twin Tabriz runners aside from the rest is not only the sheer length, but also the fact that there are multiple ones available and they are very well made. We custom ordered several 20+ foot (6m+) runners from the Faraji family in this extremely long size due to their skills since very long runners are extremely rare due to the difficulty in keeping them straight. Since it is very difficult to keep very long runners straight and even, we actually designed 2 Tabriz rugs 20x10 and then had them cut accordingly. This is why of the ways that long twin runners are made and its the best to way to keep them from developing curves. Like all high quality 50 Raj Tabriz rugs, this twin runner set features silk in the highlights and while it is designed to look luxurious, it is also made to last a lifetime.
As an added bonus, the Faraji family also adds their signature to all of their Tabriz Persian rugs and you can see it in the last picture.
