I have been on a search for a piece like this for many years as the few pieces that I have seen of this caliber tend to be large pieces custom made for buyers in the oil rich countries like Saudi Arabia and the Emirates. Even the ones I have seen in this size have been so overpriced that it simply made no sense as far as I can see.
This Mehrab designed Nain is simply piece and is a genuine 4-Lah with a silk foundation and stunning details that are enhanced with lots of silk. The design and workmanship make this piece perfect as a decor rug in a formal room and for hanging on walls. While it is the norm for Nain rugs to be laid on floors, this piece is so rare and fine that it is more of an artpiece than a carpet. Made with the finest kurkwool and lots of silk in the designs with about 700-800 kpsi, it is easily the finest Nain rug in our collection and also very well priced.
